BARCELONA YOUNGSTER GETS HUGE PRAISE FROM XAVI

Barcelona’s young midfielder Pedri is currently one of the best young prospects in the world of football and he has been getting a lot of praise for his performances on the pitch so far. Pedri had a break-out season at the Spanish La Liga giants last season where he featured in a lot of games for the club and he continued to grow from strength to strength, earning the continued trust of Barca manager Ronald Koeman. In what was a hugely successful season for him, he earned his first professional call-up to the Spain national team after getting a call from Spain head coach Luis Enrique to join the rest of the Spain squad in preparation for their Euros campaign.

Pedri was handed his debut by Enrique even though a lot of people thought that he was too young to be playing in such a very crucial tournament for the country. However, Enrique decided to look beyond the world is other people and continued to play the young midfielder and in return, he continued to earn the trust of his manager. He became a very important player for Spain at the Euros as he played almost every game in their run to the knockout rounds of the tournament.

Aside from being a very impressive player for his country, he was rated as one of the best players of the tournament and he did earn the praise that he got. Following his exploits, former Spain midfielder Andres Iniesta revealed that he is already in love with Pedri because he was showing his talent on such a big stage while also wishing him the best for the future.

Iniesta’s former colleague Xavi Hernandez has now also revealed his admiration for Pedri, insisting that the Barcelona starlet has a huge future ahead of him and only Leeds to continue working hard to improve his game.
